More Summer Projects with Ginger, Kim, and Lisa

Design team member Ginger Williams created this colorful layout to document how her boys entertained themselves this summer.  Here's what Ginger had to say ... "I was very excited when I got this topic for my assignment this week. We had a fabulous summer and did lots of fun things and went to a couple of very cool places. The hardest part of this assignment was picking just one thing to scrapbook. After sorting through lots of photos I decided I wanted to scrapbook one of our "boredom buster days." On these days we tried to find something unusual to do together at home. On this day we decided to make toys out of a package of red plastic cups. They become building blocks for castles, pyramids, forts, and a lot of fun and laughter that day! It was one of my favorite days this summer!"

Design team member Kim Kesti enjoyed a "staycation" with her family this summer and documents one of her family's favorite activities - creating a monster parade from homemade playdough!  Here's what Kim had to say ... "Our family enjoyed a "staycation" this summer so we filled our days with swimming, games, and crafts. One of our favorite crafts was making homemade playdough. The kids had a ball making funny creatures and I had a blast snapping photos. I wanted this layout to reflect the colorful day.”

Design team member Lisa Kisch created this layout to sum up all of the summertime fun her family had these past few months.  Here's what Lisa had to say ... "We had some beautiful summer portraits done by a friend last weekend. This photo is the perfect expression of the fun we had the past three months. I used a folding technique I saw on Pinterest to highlight my journaling, as well as show off both sides of the "Happy Go Lucky" patterned paper. Do you have a photo that encapsulates your summer?
