More Back To School Projects with Wendy Sue, Suzanne, and Melinda

Design team member Wendy Sue Anderson chose to use the Fresh Goods collection on her sweet back to school layout.  Here's what Wendy had to say ... "This year our summer was unlike any other – with our son’s hospitalization early in the summer and then a non-vacation theme for 3 months . . . summer was fairly uneventful and not what you would call "fun."   I wanted to do something special with the kids before they went back to school.  It wasn’t much, but I let them choose where they wanted to go for lunch the day before school started.  Of course they picked a local “burger joint” with a train theme … which is fine with me – the food was delicious!  They were even sweet enough to let me take a few photos while they ate their ice cream dessert."

Design team member Suzanne Sergi created this one of a kind teacher's gift.  Here's what Suzanne had to say ... "For my Back To School project I knew I would use the new Fresh Goods collection. This paper collection is perhaps my all time favorite! It has the perfect colors for all things back to school, and the everyday moments, too! Recently, a friend gifted me this clipboard, and I knew it was time to put it to use. We have our Back to School Nights scheduled soon, and this clipboard will be the perfect teacher's gift.  I could not resist adding a ruler to create a border along the bottom! It also held my cluster of embellishments. I used a diecut for the apple, and the Fresh Goods chipboard flower was fabulous as an accent for the leaves. I tucked in one of the toothpick flags, and embellished the center with one of the dimensional butterflies. This clipboard will be perfect to hold teacher's notes, reminders, or calendars. I simply added a couple of fun details to help her get started: alphabet tag and library card. We are ready for Back to School!"

Design team member Melinda Spinks lives in Australia so instead of back to school time it is almost the end of the school term.  With that in mind Melinda created a pair of cards perfect for saying "thank you" to those special teachers.  Here's what Melinda had to say ... "We have one last term of school before the Summer holidays so I thought it might be nice to do a get prepared early and create a couple of 'thank you' teacher cards so that when the rush of Christmas approaches, I won't be caught out like most years. Although Pebbles doesn't have a specific school themed collection there are so many fabulous prints and colour schemes that it's quite easy to give the school feel to a card without having schoolbook printed all over your paper. I used the primary colours of the Fresh Goods collection which worked perfectly!"
