Sketchy Thursday

I'm excited to bring you two layouts based on the following sketch. Get ready to be inspired!


First up is Pebbles Design Team member Melanie Blackburn, who interpreted the sketch and made it all her own with this delightful layout featuring lots and lots of Fresh Goods. Here's what she had to say about it: "This sketch was so much fun to work with. I love the placement of the smaller pictures and instead of using a 4x6 picture, I stitched a frame in its place, which created a focus for the title, journaling and embelishments. Sketches are meant to inspire and can be modified to make it fit to your style. That's why sketches are so much fun to design with!"

Next up is a festive Christmas layout by Suzanne Sergi utilizing the jolly Welcome Christmas line. Here's what Suzanne had to say about it: "I love to use sketches for my layouts, especially sketches with more than one picture. I am normally a one photo page kind of gal! For this layout I decided to use the Welcome Christmas Collection. I will admit I am ready for the holiday season to arrive. I love the traditional color palette of this collection. Bright reds, and deep greens, perfect for documenting the Christmas moments. I did use the sketch as a great guide for the placement of my photos. I did change the placement of my title, and embellishments. In the end, though, thanks to the sketch it took me about an hour to design!"
