Guest Designer: Davinie Fiero and a GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to introduce you to this week's Guest Designer Davinie Fiero.  Let's get to know Davinie a little better ...

Describe yourself in 3 words …  quirky, creative, and fun.

My guilty pleasure is …  Starbucks.  I have a gold card.  Enough said.  :)

You’ll never find me without …  that gold card from Starbucks.  I need the caffeine.  Ha!

You might be surprised to know that I …  am in Grad school after graduating with a BA in 1999.  I wasn't sure but yes, they still use pens and notebooks in class.  It's not ALL technology.  :)

My least favorite chore is …  there are people who have "favorite" chores?  I pretty much dislike them all.

I started scrapbooking in ...  Officially in ... 2004?  I dabbled a bit when my daughter was first born, but it was 2005 when I became officially obsessed.

My favorite thing about this hobby is ... starting with a blank sheet of patterned paper or cardstock and finishing with art and a treasured memory all in one.

If I were a Pebbles product I would be … the layered tags.  I wanted to use them on every layout and was definitely inspired by them for my embellishments.

"Because this layout had a birthday theme which matched the theme of the product, I wanted to create a colorful layout. Creating a birthday banner cam to me and I had a lot of fun putting this layout together. I took the pinwheels off their picks so they could be clipped to the banner to add to the festive feel of my layout."

Pebbles supplies used:
Country Picnic Terrace (751246)
Country Picnic Vineyard (751250)
Country Picnic Meadow (751243)
Country Picnic Corrugated Raspberry ABC Stickers (732094)
Country Picnic Clear Raspberry ABC Stickers (732097)
Hip Hip Hooray Party Time (751225)
Hip Hip Hooray Happy Day (751232)
Hip Hip Hooray Confetti (751233)
Hip Hip Hooray Yay (751234)
Hip Hip Hooray Embossed Stickers (732091)
Hip Hip Hooray Pinwheels (747168)
Hip Hip Hooray Clothes Pins (744287)

"I am really inspired by the layered tags and used their design to inspire the embellishments for this page about my daughter learning to read and write. I punched a few shapes, used pop dots, and layered them to create a similar effect which added to the design of the page to make it more eye catching. The sequin candy dots were an added punch of color and interest to the design."

Pebbles supplies used:
Country Picnic Vineyard (751250)
Country Picnic Corrugated Natural ABC Stickers (732093)
Country Picnic Layered Gift Tags (747173)
Hip Hip Hooray Surprise (751235)
Hip Hip Hooray Happy Day (751232)
Hip Hip Hooray Circle Sequin Candy Dots (744285)

"This card came together rather quickly and again was inspired by the layered gift tags. I love these tags! I am a kraft girl and could use these tags on every project. I trimmed my patterned papers in a similar design to the tags and even added a dimensional sticker as the title, which was also inspired by the gift tag I was looking at."

Pebbles supplies used:
Country Picnic Meadow (751243)
Country Picnic Dimensional Stickers (732101)
Hip Hip Hooray Confetti (751233)
Hip Hip Hooray Yay (751234)

Great projects! My favorite is the cupcake surprise layout too. I love the line of that red paper, and there is a little soft spot in my heart for mini paperclips. Plus I love how she mixed the traditional pennant shapes with tags and circles. Great work!

Great projects, Davinie! My fave is the Read layout! At first glance, its simple and uncluttered, but overall design and small touches like the sequins, scalloped border and circles makes it appealing.
