More Easter Projects with Gretchen and Suzanne

"Happy Easter! I made this double-page layout about a little adventure I had last Easter. My husband had to be out of town over Easter weekend for a work thing. As a surprise, he left a ton of Easter eggs hidden around our house for me to find. I was still finding eggs days after he got back! Because I had quite a few pictures to scrap and so many different colors in the pictures, I tried to keep this layout pretty simple. I did not want my pictures to get lost in too much patterned paper or too many embellishments. I chose white cardstock as the background of the layout and framed my pictures with strips of patterned paper. I did have a little fun with my title though! It was a little hard for me to embrace the white space around the edges of the layout but I do think that simplicity is best on this page!"  - Gretchen McElveen, Pebbles Design Team Member

"The soft kraft compliments the pinks, and greens in this collection. A variety of papers that are wonderful paired with Easter photos. I kept my page clean, and simple. The patterns in this collection are just that. They need few embellishments, and I used strips of the pattern paper to add interest to the page. I cut out a few of the doily flowers found on the Picket Fence paper to embellish the centers of the pinwheels. Instead of using the entire gift tag, I cut it into two sections. One to stamp my date of my page, and the other to house my journaling that was tucked to the right hand side. Vellum is definitely one of my staples, and I used it here to add subtle texture to the page." - Suzanne Sergi, Pebbles Design Team Member
